In this episode of the podcast, I speak with Rafranz Davis. Rafranz Davis is known by so many. Here is her bio from LinkedIn in case you don't know her. Hi there! I'm Rafranz, an educator with 15+ years of experience advocating for digital equity and innovative uses of technology in the classroom and beyond. I've worn many hats over the years - from teaching math to leading digital learning initiatives and even venturing into the world of computer science where I developed coding camps and hackathons for students. After leaving education in 2020, I embarked on a new journey, consulting with companies, strategizing ways to scale technology initiatives for schools. This work solidified my passion for creating digital learning opportunities for all and further informed my transition to where I am now, with Linkedin as an Associate Content Manager. Here, I get to work with passionate leaders across the AEC industry, developing courses for learners to advance their careers in pursuit of economic opportunity. I could not have dreamed this better myself! I think that my greatest creative achievement was launching both a newsletter and podcast in the same week, which I share weekly right here on Linkedin! "Learning Out Loud" is my way of going back to my edu roots while sharing what I'm learning weekly and the podcast is a passion project that I share with a friend. In it, we talk about life in and outside of education but in a way that only 2 long time friends can. I'd love to connect with fellow educators, change-makers, and advocates who are passionate about creating a more equitable and digitally inclusive educational landscape. Let's make a difference together!
